Christmas Eve

It's finally here! Christmas is nearly here, and we get to celebrate the birth of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We've looked at Christmas carols and examined the deep theological truth in each song. This helps remind us of what we're singing, and also to whom we are singing. These aren't just songs, but reminders that Christmas is a season to prepare the way to worship the King, and that is what we've come to do for Christmas Eve.

Come and Adore Him is the message that now provides each of us opportunity to worship Him, regardless of our background, issues, problems, sins, insecurities, fears, etc. The story of the Magi, (spiritual seekers- not believers), shows us how Christmas is not just about acknowledging Jesus, but adoring him. It's not a scene but an ongoing story, the most beautiful story ever told.

This Sunday we get to celebrate our Savior on Christmas Eve with a 1 hour candlelight family service. We will have a continental breakfast beginning at 9:20, sing carols, special music, gifts for the kiddos, and more. I hope you'll make plans now to invite a friend or bring a family member to share in this experience together. I can't wait to celebrate the birth of our Savior with you this Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
