What We Believe
Our beliefs are rooted in the truth of God’s Word and shaped by our foundation in the Wesleyan tradition. We are a Spirit-filled community passionate about helping people know Jesus, grow in their faith, and live transformed lives through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our Values
-

HONOURING GOD'S PRESENCE
Psalms 16:11
‘You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.’
-

LIVING IN VICTORY
Philippians 1:6
‘…being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.’
-

DEVELOPING GIFTS
I Peter 4:10
‘Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.’
-

COMMUNITY
Hebrews 10:24
‘And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.’
As part of the Wesleyan Church, we uphold the message of holiness, not as religious perfection, but as a daily journey of surrender, grace, and spiritual growth. We believe the Christian life is meant to be marked by love, freedom, victory over sin, and service to others
Our Core Beliefs
The Trinity
We believe in one God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three persons, one essence. Each is fully God, coequal, and co-eternal.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, fully trustworthy and authoritative for life, faith, and practice.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Everyone must be born again by the Spirit of God. Our desire is for every person to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord.
The Holy Spirit
We are a Spirit-filled church. We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers for holy living, guides us into truth, and equips us with spiritual gifts for ministry and mission.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose again, and is the only way to salvation.
Holiness
We believe in the ongoing work of God in the believer’s life — shaping us to reflect Jesus more each day. Holiness is not about rules, but about becoming more like Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ — a family of believers called to worship, grow, serve, and share the good news with the world.
Eternal Life
We believe in the return of Christ and the promise of eternal life with Him. Those who place their faith in Jesus will spend eternity in His presence.
